Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website located at ocmakerhub.com and all related character generation tools.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Description of Service

OC Maker Hub is a creative platform designed for anime fans, writers, and tabletop gamers. The platform allows users to design original anime characters (OCs) by selecting visual traits such as hairstyles, outfits, eye colors, and accessories without writing complex text prompts. The Service also provides character stat sheets, lore builders, and headcanon text generators.

All generated artwork represents original characters. The Service operates strictly on a Safe For Work (SFW) basis.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful.

Accounts are accessed exclusively through "Sign in with Google" (Google OAuth). We do not collect or store passwords. You are responsible for safeguarding your Google account access. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@ocmakerhub.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

3. Free Usage and Credit System

  • Free Account Registration: Signing in with Google provides five (5) complimentary portrait credits.
  • Always-Free Creative Tools: Character lore sheets, stat cards, and headcanon builders are free and do not use portrait credits.
  • Credit Consumption & Non-Expiration: Each portrait uses one (1) credit. Credits never expire.
  • Automatic Refund on Failure: If generation fails due to a technical or server error, the spent credit is restored.

4. One-Time Credit Packs

You may buy 100 credits for $9.90, 330 credits for $29.90, or 700 credits for $59.90. Each pack is a one-time purchase in USD. Purchased credits never expire. Your first paid purchase activates a permanent commercial license on your account.

5. Commercial and Personal Licensing

Free account portraits are for personal, non-commercial use, including profile avatars, roleplay, and private writing. After your first paid purchase, you may use original character portraits commercially, including book covers, indie game assets, merchandise, webcomics, and marketing materials. This license stays active on your account. Commercial rights apply to original character designs only and do not grant rights to third-party trademarks or copyrighted franchise settings.

6. Image Storage and Hosting

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Character portrait images generated on the platform are stored on our servers for approximately ninety (90) days from generation. After ninety days, images may be permanently deleted from our servers to manage storage capacity.

You are strongly encouraged to download and save your generated artwork and profile sheets immediately after rendering. We are not liable for any loss resulting from automated image deletion after the retention window.

7. Payments and Billing

All one-time credit-pack payments and orders on OC Maker Hub are processed securely by our Merchant of Record, Anyway. Anyway handles payment collection, billing, sales tax compliance, and order invoicing. We do not handle, collect, or store your payment card numbers on our servers.

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). You are responsible for any applicable transaction fees imposed by your banking institution.

8. Prohibited Conduct and Safe For Work (SFW) Standards

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Attempt to generate explicit nudity, pornography, or adult sexual content.
  • Attempt to generate depictions of graphic gore, extreme violence, or self-harm.
  • Attempt to generate hateful, harassing, or defamatory imagery.
  • Attempt to recreate copyrighted character assets, official logos, or trademarked intellectual property owned by third parties.
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract data or bypass platform rate limits.
  • Interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of our hosting servers.

Violations of our SFW policy or Terms will result in immediate account termination without refund.

9. Intellectual Property and Unofficial Fan Tools

Certain generator pages on our website reference popular anime genres and fan concepts (such as our Demon Slayer OC Maker, Pokemon Trainer Generator, and MLP OC Maker). These pages are independent, unofficial fan tools created for hobbyists and roleplay enthusiasts. They are not authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by the respective copyright holders. All generated assets feature original fan designs.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted server uptime, error-free rendering, or specific artistic results.
